Mother Me are an Indie duo from Brighton, UK. Born inside small dark rooms in London, the band make moody pop music inspired by their time in the city. After completing a short UK tour in April 2016 and appearances at The Great Escape, Truck, YNOT and Together The People festivals, they returned to Brighton to play support slots with various artists including Fear of Men and Lowly.
Debut single ‘Make Me Whole’ was one of the first songs they put together back when they used to practice in a tool shed. It presents their dark sound tinged with folk from their busking roots, whilst dealing with the theme of Separation Anxiety. B Side ‘Norwegian Wool’ deals with a death in the family. It reveals more darkness and folk influences with reverberant ambient guitars and delicate haunting vocals.
